About Us
The church has existed for 50 years. The church building was completed in the
mid-1950's shortly after a Sunday School had been started in the neighbouring
Junior School.
The surrounding area was built soon after the Second World War to house
people affected by the severe bombing of Coventry during the blitz. There is
also an Anglican Church and a Roman Catholic church on the estate.
In the 1960's a manse was built on the church land.
The membership of the church is currently 26 people. About 25 people meet
together on a Sunday morning, with ages ranging from teenagers to senior
citizens. The worship style is contemporary, with more traditional hymns being
used on a regular basis.
Our part-time minister usually leads worship and preaches. When he is not
present we are supported by a wide variety of visiting preachers from local
churches.
